About sample memorials
Pages marked Sample show what a finished memorial looks like. The people on them are not real.
A gold Sample memorial label at the top of a page means every name, date, photo, and story on that page was made up to show the design.
Welcome Back Home is gathering real memorial content with the families of local veterans. Until that content is ready, five fictional veterans stand in so the pages, the QR codes, and the family submission form can be tested exactly the way a visitor will use them at a graveside.
No sample page describes a real person, living or passed. Any likeness to a real veteran is a coincidence. The photos are placeholders, not photographs of anyone.
When Welcome Back Home sends the pilot content, each real memorial replaces a sample page, the label disappears, and the printed QR code keeps working because it points at the same address.
